How to reach Careggine:
The hotel is about 1 hr 15 minutes from Lucca and the same from Forte dei Marmi (seaside) 1 hr 40 minutes from Pisa airport, about 2 hours from Florence.
Located in the heart of the Apuan Alps, within the National Park, Careggine is surrounded by forests, mountains, meadows, rivers and lakes but can be easily reached from the main motorway exits or railway stations. Trekking trails can you lead around the Alps till to the top of the mountains at 2000 mt. to see the seaside of Versilia and the wonderful Garfagnana wiews
