Farm with 22 hectares of land with vineyards and olive groves (own produce of Chianti Classico DOCG wine and extra virgin olive oil), located in a hilly and panoramic position in the Chianti Classico region, 5 km from Castellina in Chianti, 20 km from Siena and 50 km from Florence.
The architectural structure, partly in stone, partly plastered, is built around an ancient Florentine watchtower from the 12th century, with antique adjacent stone outbuilding and a former barn on two floors.
In the main house, in addition to the owners quarters of about 300 sqm and that of the employees of about 75 sqm, there are three apartments of around 70 sqm each: two on the ground floor and one on the first floor, each comprising a living room with kitchen or kitchenette, double room, twin room, bathroom with shower, and outdoor garden or scenic loggia.
In the outbuilding of stone there are two beautiful apartments, each with private garden:
- the first one is of 55 sqm with large living room, kitchenette, double room, bathroom with shower.
- the second one of 100 sqm is on two floors: on the ground floor it comprises a living room, fireplace and kitchenette, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower. Upstairs: one bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The former barn now consists of two apartments, each with private garden:
- an apartment of 55 sqm with large living room with fireplace and kitchenette. Upstairs the master bedroom and bathroom with shower.
- an apartment of 85 sqm consisting of a living room with fireplace and kitchenette on the ground floor, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower upstairs.
All apartments intended for agri touristic purposes have been restored respecting the ancient rural tradition and furnished with antiques. Guests have access to the swimming pool of 15 x 8 meters.
The property also includes the fully renovated winery of 50 sqm, with a technical room of 20 sqm and a boiler room of approx. 12 sqm.
Under the barn there is a room where the wine is aged and of approx. 40 sqm, also perfectly restored but not large enough for the productive capacity of the vineyards.
The property also include a very large brick and wood shed of 300 sqm registered at NCEU although it's used for agricultural purposes, and another outbuilding of 35 sqm spread over 2 floors and used for the aging of sweet wine.
A farm with a great potential, due to the quality of the wine and olive oil, and for its well-positioned location in the Chianti area, with an established success with what concerns the agri touristic activities.
