1. Location:
The proposed facility is located in a city in which 11.000 people live. The city is located on the A27 between Bremen and Bremerhaven. As a result of migration from these two cities, the city’s population has grown significantly over the past decades. Since 2008, more than 8,000 people have come to live in this city. The region of Bremen is one of the most developed in Germany. This is due to the proximity to the port, sea lanes and the border with Holland. This region and economic zone is densely populated. The site on which the object will be built has a convenient location in the city. In close proximity are banks, doctors' offices and schools, which makes the object attractive to buyers. Due to the good influence of the municipality and the associated increase in sales, the retail chain EDEKA, the former operator of the existing building in this area, decided to move to a large shopping center.
2. Description of the object:
The existing building of the former EDEKA supermarket will be completely rebuilt in accordance with the modern standards of the new tenant, Germany’s largest retail network NETTO.
The lease agreement with NETTO has been signed for 15 years, with options for extending 3x5 years. The commencement of construction work will take place in Q3 2019, the work will be completed in Q1 2020.
